Training and Development



"Training is a systematic way of altering behavior to prepare an employee for a job or to improve the employee's performance on the present job, and development is preparing an employee for improving the conceptual, decision making ,and interpersonal skills in complex, in structured situation" (kllatt murdick & schuster)

Training and Development is a most valuable function in Human Resource Management. A program of upgrading employee 's skills, knowledge and competencies is known as training.as a result of training and development employee can well perform on the assign tasks and they contribute to the success of the organization The development program is help to preparation to perform the future job. Training and development is a process of learning provide to new and existing employees to get knowledge and skills ands developing attitudes of behavior in order to be more efficiency their jobs. Training and development helps increase employee work capacity and get ready to future challenges.

Training and Development is a two different activities to get best performance of the employee. Training is short term process which is used to operational purpose of the organization and development is long term process for executive purpose. The aim of training and development is increasing knowledge, skills in the employee and improve overall personality of the employee. Human Resource managers are takes the suitable training methods to upgrade skills gap in the organization.
